Na Zdrowie

Opened not so long ago on Glebe Point Road is Na Zdrowie, one of the very few Polish restaurants in Sydney. It's rated quite well on eatability.com, and just two days ago they received a pretty good review on the Sun Herald. So I was expecting a decent meal when I went there for dinner, but I was extremely dissappointed with the quality of their food. I love having a good, hearty meal, and European diets of potatoes and meat usually does it for me, but everything we tried here was far from comfort food. The pierogis were horrible, the potato pancakes bland, and my pork loin stuffed with prunes were eatable but not at all great. The portions were also tiny, especially for the prices that they were asking for. None of us were full, but nobody dared to order from the dessert menu from fear that they would taste bad as well. A real shame as I was expecting so much more from here.
